Universal private payment rail for stablecoins
A Beam-powered rail to send stablecoins privately using identifiers people already use — phone, email, wallet, or QR — exposed as both a consumer app and a business payouts API. Nobody has to understand wallets, chains, gas, or privacy.
What this enables
- →Send stablecoins to an identifier, not an address. Pay a phone number, an email, a Starknet wallet, or a scanned QR / payment link — Beam resolves it and settles privately underneath. Neither sender nor recipient touches wallets, chains, gas, bridges, or the privacy layer. One settlement path covers P2P, remittances, merchant payments, marketplaces, payroll, and global payouts.
- →A private merchant layer, not just P2P. The consumer surface targets markets where crypto adoption is high but consumer payments concentrate in a few Web2 apps — Vietnam (Grab), Thailand (Bolt), UAE (Careem), high-growth Africa and South America — with QR payments, payment links, invoices, and merchant checkout. Starknet gets a private point-of-sale layer, not another wallet-to-wallet demo.
- →Business payouts without collecting wallet addresses. The same rail exposes a payouts API for companies distributing stablecoins globally — creator payouts, marketplace sellers, freelancers, payroll, rewards, grants, airdrops — without ever collecting a recipient's wallet address or exposing their balance or history. Wallet creation, chain selection, gas, and privacy are abstracted from both the company and the recipient.
- →Gasless by default. Avnu-paymaster sponsorship means recipients never hold STRK and never sign to receive; senders never think about gas. The payment experience is Web2-simple while settlement stays confidential onchain.
- →One universal private money-movement layer. Two distribution surfaces — consumer app and payouts API — ride one rail, positioning Starknet as the settlement infrastructure for private stablecoin payments rather than a chain users have to learn.
What you build
A Beam-powered payment rail where identifiers — phone, email, wallet, QR / link — resolve to Private Sub-Account settlement destinations, and value moves as encrypted notes through the Privacy Pool so balances and payment history are never exposed. Beam handles human-readable distribution and identifier resolution; recurring and P2P flows run over Channels; the Avnu Paymaster sponsors gas so recipients need no STRK and no signature to receive. A Chain Abstraction layer lets senders fund from any supported chain and recipients cash out to any supported chain, with the source-to-destination link broken in the pool. The consumer app wraps this in QR payments, payment links, invoices, and merchant checkout, while the business surface exposes the same primitives as a payouts API that distributes to identifiers without ever collecting or storing recipient addresses. Viewing Keys give each party selective disclosure — a recipient can prove income, a business can reconcile its payout book — without making anything public.
Why this isn't Hinkal Pay
Hinkal Pay has proven the demand, executing $500M+ in private stablecoin volume, but it settles between crypto-native wallets: sender and recipient are still addresses, and the surface is a shielded transfer. This rail sends to a phone number, an email, or a QR — identifiers people already use — and abstracts wallets, chains, gas, and privacy away entirely, so it reaches non-crypto merchants and payout recipients Hinkal's wallet-to-wallet model can't. And it ships as two surfaces on one rail: a consumer merchant-payments app and a business payouts API, making Starknet the universal private settlement layer rather than a single shielded-transfer product.

Idea 11
Private payroll and treasury disbursement at company scale
A payroll protocol where per-recipient amounts stay private from each other and from the public, but the payer can prove aggregate spend to auditors and each recipient can prove income for tax filings. The compliance model traditional payroll uses, brought onchain without a centralized intermediary.
Idea 12
Private subscriptions and creator monetization with Web2-grade UX
Recurring private payments from subscribers to creators - gas-sponsored, set-and-forget, with subscriber identity cryptographically hidden. Tier-gated access via STARK proofs, not wallet scanning. The onchain Patreon that finally works.
