STRK20 Privacy that works for crypto
STRK20 brings shielded balances, private transfers, and private DeFi to any ERC-20 asset on Starknet. Shield any token, move it privately, and use it anywhere in DeFi — built on existing liquidity and existing wallets, with a built-in compliance path.
What you can do
- Shield / unshield any ERC-20 balance from your existing Starknet wallet.
- Private transfers — send tokens with no on-chain link between sender and receiver.
- Anonymous DeFi — swap and lend against existing AMM liquidity (Ekubo, AVNU).
- Compliance-first — per-user viewing keys and wallet-level screening; private by default, disclosable when required.
Privacy questions, answered.
Can a company use STRK20 without exposing its balances and transaction history?
STRK20 can protect a company's supported shielded balances and private transfer amounts from public observers. That protection does not cover its entire financial history: deposits, withdrawals and external app activity can remain visible, and authorized auditing still applies. Token and wallet support depend on the integration.

Can I make private transactions on an Ethereum Layer 2?
Yes. STRK20 lets you shield supported tokens and transfer them privately on Starknet, an Ethereum Layer 2. Starknet itself remains public: deposits and withdrawals are visible, while app interactions, channel setup and transaction timing can also reveal information. Available actions depend on your wallet and integration.

Can auditors inspect confidential STRK20 transfers?
Yes, through STRK20's designated auditor mechanism. Registration requires an encrypted copy of the user's viewing key. This supports authorized inspection of the user's private transfer history, but the viewing key cannot authorize spending. This mechanism is mandatory at registration; it is separate from any voluntary sharing arrangement.
